 In Lisichansk direction, the Group's units successfully repelled AFU assault groups on defensive positions close to Yakovlevka and Sol. 

The Group's aviation launched attacks at one command post of the AFU 115th Mechanised Brigade near Kramatorsk. 

In the course of counter-battery warfare, artillery units destroyed one Polish-manufactured Krab 155mm self-propelled artillery system, one MT-LB armoured tracked vehicle near Vesyoloye, two D-30 howitzers at firing positions near Serebryanka and Maryinka. Gvozdika self-propelled artillery system crews destroyed the AFU 24th Mechanised Brigade's observation post near Kirovo.

  The  AN/SEQ-3 Laser Weapon System  or  XN-1 LaWS [1]  is a  laser weapon  developed by the  United States Navy . The weapon was installed on  USS  Ponce  for field testing in 2014. In December 2014, the United States Navy reported that the LaWS system worked perfectly against low-end  asymmetric  threats, and that the commander of  Ponce  was authorized to use the system as a defensive weapon. The LaWS is a ship-defense system that has so far publicly engaged an  unmanned aerial vehicle  (UAV or drone) and a simulated small-boat attacker. The   M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System   ( M270 MLRS ) is an American   armored ,   self-propelled ,   multiple rocket launcher . The first M270s were delivered to the  U.S. Army  in 1983. The MLRS has since been adopted by several  NATO countries . Some 1,300 M270 systems have been manufactured in the United States and in Western Europe, along with more than 700,000  rockets . Production of the M270 ended in 2003, when a last batch was delivered to the  Egyptian Army .
