Chinese aircraft carrier Fujian

  Fujian  ( 18 ;  Chinese :  福建舰 ;  pinyin :  Fújiàn Jiàn ) or the  Type 003  aircraft carrier is a second-generation Chinese  aircraft carrier  under  outfitting  for the  People's Liberation Army Navy  (PLAN) of China. It is named after  Fujian  province situated west of the 110-mile-wide  Taiwan Strait .  Launched  on June 17, 2022,  Fujian  is China's first aircraft carrier to use a  CATOBAR  system and  electromagnetic catapults . The Type 003 class was originally unofficially called Type 002 when  Shandong , China's then-incomplete second carrier, was believed to be designated Type 001A.  Shandong ' s official designation, Type 002, was revealed during commissioning.   The  CAESAR  ( CAmion Équipé d'un Système d'ARtillerie ;  French :  Truck equipped with an artillery system )  is a French self-propelled  155 mm / 52-calibre  gun- howitzer  firing  NATO -standard artillery shells up to 42 kilometres (26 mi) when Extended Range, Full Bore (ERFB) or over 50 kilometres (31 mi) when rocket assisted, installed on a  6x6  or  8x8  truck chassis. Examples built for the  French Army  use a 6x6  Renault Sherpa 5  chassis,  examples built for export utilize the  6x6 Unimog U2450L  chassis or the 8x8  Tatra 815  chassis.   The  BMPT "Terminator"  ( Боевая машина поддержки танков  - Tank Support Fighting Vehicle) is an  armored fighting vehicle  (AFV), designed and manufactured by the Russian company  Uralvagonzavod . This vehicle was designed for supporting tanks and other AFVs in  urban areas . The BMPT is unofficially named the "Terminator" by the manufacturers. It is heavily armed and armored to survive in urban combat. The AFV is armed with four  9M120 Ataka  missile launchers, two 30 mm  2A42  autocannons, two  AG-17D  grenade launchers, and one coaxial 7.62 mm  PKTM  machine gun.   The  Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft  ( AMCA ) is an Indian programme to develop a  stealth ,  multirole ,  air superiority fighter  for the  Indian Air Force  and the  Indian Navy  which will also include  6th Generation  niche technologies. The design of the aircraft is carried out by  Aeronautical Development Agency  (ADA), an aircraft design and development agency constituted under  Defence Research and Development Organisation  (DRDO). It is expected to be produced by a public-private joint venture between the DRDO,  Hindustan Aeronautics Limited  (HAL), and an Indian private company. The development cost is estimated to be around ₹15,000 crore.   Up to 11,000 soldiers  marched  through Moscow’s iconic Red Square on Monday, followed by more than 100 armored vehicles, as Russia marked the 77th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany and its allies in World War II. The Red Army’s fight against Nazi troops is known as the Great Patriotic War in Russia, and May 9 is one of the country’s most revered holidays. “It is our duty to cherish the memory of those who vanquished Nazism,”  President Vladimir Putin said as he kicked off the parade. HMS Hermes

  HMS  Hermes   was a British   aircraft carrier   built for the   Royal Navy   and was the world's first ship to be designed as an aircraft carrier, although the   Imperial Japanese Navy 's   Hōshō   was the first to be launched and commissioned. [2]   The ship's construction began during the   First World War   but not completed until after the end of the war, delayed by multiple changes in her design after she was   laid down . After she was   launched , the   Armstrong Whitworth   shipyard which built her closed, and her fitting out was suspended. Most of the changes made were to optimise her design, in light of the results of experiments with operational carriers.
