 In the course of combat operations in Kupyansk direction, a crew of the Su-34 fighter-bomber of the Zapad Group of Forces carried out two air strikes on two objects against the temporary deployment point of units of the 103rd Separate Territorial Defence Brigade close to Peschanoye, and against a command post, a manpower and firepower concentration area of units of the 68th Separate Ranger Brigade close to Stelmakhovka. In total, the enemy losses were up to two platoons of manpower.


In addition, in the defence line of the motorised rifle brigade of the 1st Tank Army, the Group's artillery launched an attack on units of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade near Berestovoye during an attempt to redeploy reserves to forward positions. The enemy losses were up to a squad of troops and a pickup truck.


In the course of counter-battery warfare, a 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled artillery system, under the command of Junior Sergeant Artyom Konovalov, destroyed a mortar crew near Novosyolovskoye.

  The  AN/SEQ-3 Laser Weapon System  or  XN-1 LaWS [1]  is a  laser weapon  developed by the  United States Navy . The weapon was installed on  USS  Ponce  for field testing in 2014. In December 2014, the United States Navy reported that the LaWS system worked perfectly against low-end  asymmetric  threats, and that the commander of  Ponce  was authorized to use the system as a defensive weapon. The   M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System   ( M270 MLRS ) is an American   armored ,   self-propelled ,   multiple rocket launcher . The first M270s were delivered to the  U.S. Army  in 1983.
