  • The Group's aviation launched attacks at four AFU temporary deployment points in Soledar-Artyomovsk direction. Army Aviation helicopter crews destroyed two tanks and two armoured personnel carriers, including one U.S.-manufactured M-113 armoured personnel carrier.
  • The Group's artillery destroyed the AFU 28th Mechanised Brigade's ammunition depot and one UAV launching platform with two UAVs near Krasnoye and Belaya Gora.
  • Special Operations Forces units of the South Military District detected and, with the support of artillery fire, destroyed three AFU infantry groups up to fourteen servicemen, one machine gun crew, one self-propelled artillery system and one mortar in strongholds near Dyleevka, Ozaryanovka, Spornoye, Pobeda, Maryinka.

  The  AN/SEQ-3 Laser Weapon System  or  XN-1 LaWS [1]  is a  laser weapon  developed by the  United States Navy . The weapon was installed on  USS  Ponce  for field testing in 2014. In December 2014, the United States Navy reported that the LaWS system worked perfectly against low-end  asymmetric  threats, and that the commander of  Ponce  was authorized to use the system as a defensive weapon. The LaWS is a ship-defense system that has so far publicly engaged an  unmanned aerial vehicle  (UAV or drone) and a simulated small-boat attacker. The   M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System   ( M270 MLRS ) is an American   armored ,   self-propelled ,   multiple rocket launcher . The first M270s were delivered to the  U.S. Army  in 1983. The MLRS has since been adopted by several  NATO countries . Some 1,300 M270 systems have been manufactured in the United States and in Western Europe, along with more than 700,000  rockets . Production of the M270 ended in 2003, when a last batch was delivered to the  Egyptian Army . MLRS was developed in 1977–80s jointly by the United Kingdom, United States, West Germany, France and Italy, developed from the older General Support Rocket System (GSRS), and initially fielded in the late 1980s.
