  The  AN/SEQ-3 Laser Weapon System  or  XN-1 LaWS [1]  is a  laser weapon  developed by the  United States Navy . The weapon was installed on  USS  Ponce  for field testing in 2014. In December 2014, the United States Navy reported that the LaWS system worked perfectly against low-end  asymmetric  threats, and that the commander of  Ponce  was authorized to use the system as a defensive weapon. Chinese aircraft carrier Fujian

  Fujian  ( 18 ;  Chinese :  福建舰 ;  pinyin :  Fújiàn Jiàn ) or the  Type 003  aircraft carrier is a second-generation Chinese  aircraft carrier  under  outfitting  for the  People's Liberation Army Navy  (PLAN) of China. It is named after  Fujian  province situated west of the 110-mile-wide  Taiwan Strait .  Launched  on June 17, 2022,  Fujian  is China's first aircraft carrier to use a  CATOBAR  system and  electromagnetic catapults . The Type 003 class was originally unofficially called Type 002 when  Shandong , China's then-incomplete second carrier, was believed to be designated Type 001A.  Shandong ' s official designation, Type 002, was revealed during commissioning. Russia’s New ‘Poseidon’ Super-Weapon

  As Russia  ratchets up the nuclear threat  over the past few days, following their invasion of Ukraine, one of the weapons  on people’s minds is Poseidon . This nuclear ‘mega torpedo’ is unique in the history of the world. Despite speculation, we do not believe that Poseidon has been deployed. The system is not yet ready. But it does raise concerns for nuclear stability in the near future. It changes the shape of nuclear deterrence and will become one of Russia’s most feared weapons. Poseidon is an ‘Intercontinental Nuclear-Powered Nuclear-Armed Autonomous Torpedo’. It is a giant torpedo which can hit coastal cities with devastating results.
