The HAL Tejas Mark 2, or Medium Weight Fighter (MWF), is an Indian single-engined, canard delta wing, multirole combat aircraft designed by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) in collaboration with Aircraft Research and Design Centre (ARDC) of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the Indian Air Force (IAF). It is a further development of the HAL Tejas, with an elongated airframe, close coupled canards, new sensors, and a more powerful engine.

The Tejas Mark 2 is being designed and developed to replace multiple strike fighters of IAF viz, the SEPECAT Jaguar, Dassault Mirage 2000, and Mikoyan MiG-29.[5][6][7] The first flight of Tejas Mark 2 is expected to be in 2023, with series production to begin by 2026.

  As Russia  ratchets up the nuclear threat  over the past few days, following their invasion of Ukraine, one of the weapons  on people’s minds is Poseidon . This nuclear ‘mega torpedo’ is unique in the history of the world. Despite speculation, we do not believe that Poseidon has been deployed. The system is not yet ready.   The  AN/SEQ-3 Laser Weapon System  or  XN-1 LaWS [1]  is a  laser weapon  developed by the  United States Navy . The weapon was installed on  USS  Ponce  for field testing in 2014. In December 2014, the United States Navy reported that the LaWS system worked perfectly against low-end  asymmetric  threats, and that the commander of  Ponce  was authorized to use the system as a defensive weapon. The LaWS is a ship-defense system that has so far publicly engaged an  unmanned aerial vehicle  (UAV or drone) and a simulated small-boat attacker.
